Fixed quotes, never day rates. If we estimate it wrong that's ours to swallow. Then pick whichever payment shape suits your cash flow.
Pay by milestone
Start with a pilot from £4,500 · full builds £8k to £30kStart small. A pilot takes the one process that hurts most, fixes it for a fixed price, in about a month, and you judge us on it before anything bigger is discussed. Full builds run deposit, blueprint, build, handover: a quarter at each stage, so nothing falls due on work you haven't watched running.
Spread the cost
The same fixed quote, spread · from £950/monthSame price, kinder on the bank account. Spread a fixed quote over 6 to 12 monthly payments while the thing starts earning its keep. No interest dressed up as "financing", just a schedule we agree up front.
Build & run retainer
From £750/month · 12-month term · 3 months up frontA monthly seat covering the system, hosting, upkeep, improvements and someone on the phone when something changes. Twelve month term, first three months up front. That deposit reserves your slot in the schedule and comes off the run, not on top of it.
The small print, up front: these are real numbers, not a range that doubles once we've seen your setup. You get a fixed quote before anything starts. And if what you actually need is a £300 spreadsheet fix or something off the shelf, we'll say so on the first call and you'll have lost half an hour of your life. The walk-round's free either way.
07 The sceptic's FAQ
The stuff you're too polite to ask.
What if the person who built it leaves?
Fair question, and the right one to ask any supplier you're trusting with the plumbing. It's all built on boring, standard technology, documented as it's written, with the code, data and hosting in your name from day one. More than one of us knows your system, and any decent developer could pick it up without us. Nobody here is a single point of failure, including the person who wrote it.
Is the software yours or ours?
Yours. Code, data, hosting, documentation, all in your name from the start. Walking away from us should be easy. That's deliberate. It keeps us honest and stops you being held hostage by your own operating system.
Do we actually need AI?
Maybe not yet. Don't be surprised if the audit ends with "sort your stock data out first and then we'll talk". AI is the last mile. Systems are the road. If you need a proper stock system and a tidy database before any of it earns its keep, that's what we'll tell you.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
Agencies test their systems on their clients. Ours get tested on us first. The same patterns we'd use on your build are shipping real orders through real trading businesses every working day. And you deal with the people building it, from first walk-round to handover.
We're not technical. Will we understand any of it?
Good, that's the point of the blueprint stage. You get a drawing of your system in plain English, agreed before a line of code exists. Training's part of every build, never an extra. If we can't explain it to whoever's using it at 8am on a Monday, it isn't finished.
